Idle Problems.

so the car is sputtering at idle, i think it might be the timming. I know its not the injectors because i just had them cleaned and it was doing this with my stock injectors.
Also the car is running way lean at idle also, 14.x-15.x i try to adjust it with the SAFC but doesnt really make much of a diff. It started to idle leaner* after i installed the 550cc ROM into the VPC...i think i had more control with the 440rom.
Under boost the car goes rich so im guessing thats good. I'll try to take some video of the car idling.

Any helpful info. will be appreciated.

14.7:1 air-fuel ratio at idle is normal. That keeps the catalyst at its proper operating temperature.

yea but 2 things...is goes back and forth from 14.x to 15.x+ and i can hardly adjust it with the safc2, seems i had more control with the old 440rom

thats pefectly fine for idle man. have u cheked ur plugs/wires just common tune up. also chek the timing with a gun and see where ur at. i cant c the damn vid, since im at work. i will chek it out tomorrow n c if i can help u out. good luck

Just watched the vid, from the sound of it, ur coils are missing. im almost mostive its ur ignition. either plugs wires or most likely your coils. keps us updated!

What kind of throttle body do you have on that. Maybe you need to adjust your TPS. It does sound like ignition related but I would rule out the TPS first since that could throw off your idle big time.

TPS is fine, i've even changed it...using stocker..

If u got extra coil packs layin around, i would switch them real quik n see cuzz im almost positive thats its ur coils

Hey man, I just switched turbo setups and my car can barely idle, and keeps stalling because I'm running so rich. Its the only thing I've changed. Try monitoring your Vf's to see whats going on. I cut some fuel and it definately helped. Just a thought.

I dont thing boost leaks would make ur car sputter like that on idle. from the video though, it sounds like u got a mad vac/exhaust leak

ok it doesnt look like its the timming, i tried to reset the timming...did TDC and set the cps. Im using the big injectors but like i said before...it was doing this with the 440's

and underboost it does miss....
