This is stupid...
I went to my local parts dealer who gives me good deals and i thought about buying platnums but they were considerably more expensive than the copper/standard plugs so i just said screw it im not paying that much for plugs... (no job)
well i ended up getting NGK plugs and they are B8ES model 2411.
I wanted to see if he gave me the right year/engine (not mk2) and checked NGK's part finder site and it says for standard to use part #BCPR5ES-11 stock #6696
so i searched the web for the plug that I bought.... i keep getting ads that is is a SNOWMOBILE sparkplug.... i went out and compared them again and this time notced that the part the socket fits on is MUCH bigger...like something on a short and stubby lawnmower plug.
I'm guessing i'm going to have to return these...??
this stinks. lol. according to kragen they'll fit a 1968 porshe 911 and a 1974 renault R17. crap!:nono:
