So who on here would buy from anyone other than Randy (aka BIC or becauseIcan)? Yes, it looks kinda like a BIC DDP, but I bet it doesn't perform the same. When I finally buy one, it will definitely come from the innovator.

Everything successful in this world is quickly copied. Just look how many crappy copies there are of American Idol. I'm not saying that's a great show, but is successful as hell, and the copies are hideous.

besides, that flex section looks like it would hit the underside of the car or the DP would hang rather low, as there is not a lot of clearance between the DP and the car anyway when its tucked up.

So noone should ever copy any product? Thats like saying there should be one dp for our cars and none after it since its copying. This stuff happens all the time. Randy has my support and I personally own one of his dps. Im sure the rest of the community feels the same way. Simply put, dont buy from these other copycats. And idk what is wrong with a flex section or why there crappy either.

Unless Randy holds a patent on his designs the title of this thread is bunk. His designs and fabrication work are good stuff and I'd rather buy from Supra folk than any outsider but there isn't anything wrong with fair competition. I don't see this as a threat to BIC products. The funny thing is, this thread is actually advertising for the 'competing' product. I wouldn't have known about it unless I saw this thread....

It looks alright to me. The more options, the better pricing we get. Design looks almost the same and the flex section actually would be better in aiding against vibration and engine torque flex.

If you are against it, you should not have posted it here. Now more people know about it and soon.......someone will be buying it from them.... You just gave them free exposure to the right audience.. lol

If the price was right, I know I would... if I needed it.

/\ exactly! ddp's are made for many turbo charged cars (euro focus anyone?, neons) its a general design not something specific. i know zoon and hes a really upstanding guy and from what i have seen of these products they are awesome and are made of SS as opposed to mild steel. he is also going to start making some 1jz specific products in the near future but thats a thread for another day.

guys its just another option not a blow against randy in any way shape or form (i actually run a bic dp on my car) untwist the panties and get over it.
