dsm stand for diamond star motors. the 4g63 or 1g 2g turbo engine was a diamond star motor, made by mitsu and mopar. for the 3g eclipse, mitsu made its own engine, so it's not a dsm. the evo also uses severly worked over dsm 4g63, so i suppose you could still call it a dsm..... eh oh well, i like the 3.0 liter displacement. however, my friend has an evo that runs 13.3 with hard pipes with intake, and dp, NOTHING ELSE..... thats impressive
