Ok, I dont have one... *plug for the back* It was hacked off by one of the previous owners... In its place are three idividual "plugs" soldered to teh wires... These plugs fit snugly over the metal prongs on the alternator...

Now my question is, does it matter which wire is connected to which prong? My thinking is, these are just power feeds for the system, so each prong will be giving off 14.4 volts...

Thanks,
Jake

Sorry man...couldn't resist :biglaugh:
Mine broke off at the connector...I got another plug from tubbie and spliced it in. Worked like a charm.

seriously LOL here

yeah, it's externally regulated right? yeah, that would be REALLY bad...

No, it's internally regulated.

The 3 wires on there are for various things, one is coming from the Engine 15A fuse, 1 is for the charge light on the dash, and 1 is coming from the AM1 fusible link. Then of course the main one is direct to the battery.

Poodles: its actually part of the body harness not the engine harness...

I don't have an extra - I picked one up off a Cressida in the U-Pull-It here in Ocala - if anyone can verify the plug is the same on the 5m Cressida's altenators, I'd be more than happy to snag one for you Jake.

Mine's also 3 snug fitting wires - I did it myself, though, as I was dead in freaking STARKE and had no choice!
