I thought you didn't like being called a flaming liberal Joel ;)

After reading that "how to spin" site from the RIGHT, I do not care anymore...These guys talk and spin just like they wrote that site.. As far as I know Newt Gingrich is a republican, He wrote the "how to" memo...Not the liberals..:3d_frown:

See how easy it is? No need to waste time examining the complexity of an issue. No reason to waste energy negotiating or evaluating the intricacies of numerous options. Use the right vocabulary and American life instantly becomes a matter of the right way and everyone else’s way. What could be simpler?

Obviously not a conservative or republican. Just another liberal who thinks that "hate bush" is a winning political platform. Americans don't need any more hate. We need a reason to feel proud of being american, and hate isn't the path. Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering.

Your hopelessly blind to the fact that this is from a GOPAC Republican website and as far as I can tell from reading your posts, your just as bad as they are.. Spin that..

I really do not give a flying fuck what you think, I hacked it off a republican website that requires a login. The Google "cashed" button bypassed the password and this is NOT FROM A LIBERAL website..go away now...

Aaron. Same goes for you...Spin spin spin your sin...

Joel, what the HELL are you talking about???? This is from a blogger site from a guy calling himself Doc Boon. This is not a top secret republican trick, it is more than likely some shit made up by a Bush hating liberal to satirize the issue.

:3d_frown: As a moderator on here, I would think you would have the balls to be honest about the original source of your material, and not be starting flame wars for the hell of it.:3d_frown:

  • having political or social views favoring reform and progress
  • tolerant of change; not bound by authoritarianism, orthodoxy, or tradition
  • a person who favors a political philosophy of progress and reform and the protection of civil liberties

  • Not bound by orthodox tenets or established forms in political or religious philosophy; independent in opinion; not conservative; friendly to great freedom in the constitution or administration of government

Liberal: from the latin root Liberalis (liber = free) other words with the same root; Liberty, Deliverance

I love when people like Adjuster throw the word liberal around like its some kind of insult. How can anyone despise something that stands for the principles of freedom and liberty. Its what this country was founded on.
You can LABEL me a LIBERAL all you want! I wont mind!

Since when am I crying? I'll admit, I just googled it and I found the list of positive/contrasting words, but I haven't found the rest of the memo.

Anyway, do you not think that libs have the same stuff. I'm not pretending the right are perfect angels, they're not. But every last little complaint you have against the right can be tossed right back at the left.

All in all, this thread is a ridiculous flamewar with no real point to it, its isn't shedding light on a secret tactic. I would be willing to place money that the libs have things just like that. They frequently ignore facts, attack the person and ignore the argument, and many other half assed 'tactics'. Politics has a lot of mud. Get over it.

That is just more proof of your ignorance and the fact that your not smart enough to tell when your brainwashed.. Furthermore, I made this thread to shed light on the truth, Your leaders are not good people if they use the above mentioned tactics to manipulate the system and the people into doing what they want at any cost.. Greedy and Evil......

You sir, are a lost cause in my book. I do not care if I get fired as a moderator for this one bit...:)

Except for the fact that liberals in that sense don't exist. The same for true conservatives. What you have today is liberal, democrat and leftist being synonamous to each other. With a straight face and a sincere heart, look at Hilary Clinton , Howard Dean, John Kerry, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Bill Clinton, Al Gore, Joe Biden... (the list goes on) and tell me that the above defines them

Speaking of leftist...here's something fro wiki:

Wikipedia said:
in politics, left-wing, the political left or simply the left are terms that refer to the segment of the political spectrum typically associated with any of several strains of, to varying extents, socialism, anarchism, communism, social democracy, progressivism, American liberalism or social liberalism, and defined in contradistinction to its polar opposite, the right.

Now there's a fun group that I want to be a part of! Today's liberals are no angels and neither are the conservatives, so NEITHER needs to be put on some kind of pedestal.

Here is the full link from Wiki and not just that one skewed paragraph...:icon_razz No spin for you..

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liberal

Liberalism is an ideology, philosophical view, and political tradition which holds that liberty is the primary political value.[1] Liberalism has its roots in the Western Enlightenment, but the term now encompasses a diversity of political thought.

Broadly speaking, contemporary liberalism emphasizes individual rights. It seeks a society characterized by freedom of thought for individuals, limitations on power, especially of government and religion, the rule of law, free public education, the free exchange of ideas, a market economy that supports relatively free private enterprise, and a transparent system of government in which the rights of all citizens are protected. [2] In modern society, liberals favor a liberal democracy with open and fair elections, where all citizens have equal rights by law and an equal opportunity to succeed[3].

Many liberals advocate a greater degree of government interference in the free market, often in the form of anti-discrimination laws, civil service examinations, universal education, and progressive taxation. This philosophy frequently extends to a belief that the government should provide for a degree of general welfare, including the dole for the poor, housing for the homeless, and medical care for the sick. Such publicly-funded initiatives and interferences in the market are rejected by modern advocates of classical liberalism, which emphasizes free private enterprise, individual property rights and freedom of contract; classical liberals hold that economic inequality, as arising naturally from competition in the free market, does not justify the violation of private property rights. However, modern advocates of classical liberalism do advocate a heavier taxation on the corporation, as opposed to the current trend of the burden of income tax resting on the shoulders of the individual worker, as did the early classical liberals.

Liberalism rejected many foundational assumptions which dominated most earlier theories of government, such as the Divine Right of Kings, hereditary status, and established religion. Fundamental human rights that all liberals support include the right to life, liberty, and property. Liberalism has its roots in the Western Enlightenment, but the term now encompasses a diversity of political thought, with adherents spanning a large part of the political spectrum.

Liberals are the ones who created this country you love so much...

ONCE AGAIN, you have no proof that libs do not use these tactics.

I am not ignorant, especially in comparison to you, thus that is not what I was apologizing for. I was apologizing that I had to shatter your wet dream that libs are perfect and that they have come to save the world from W, or whatever the hell you may believe about your mixed up party.

And I personally doubt I will have any problem understanding what you say, but I can't imagine agreeing with it if it is the same kind of shit you've posted above.

Anyway, I don't have time to waste in a pointless, onesided flamewar when you ignore the fact that the other side blatantly does the same thing. If it is within your capability to bring anything meaningful to this thread, PM me and I'll come back and read it. But for now, this thread is pointless. I'm out.
