No i am using 91 octane. highest we got in co why?
I used to put 87 in my auto supra and gauge would only go up to 4 psi. Then it BHG'd and while fixing it I researched the car and one of the first things I found was that it needed 91, so I fixed the hg and put 91 and it went past 6. I might have had something to do with the turbo rebuild though.

Anyways while pressurizing ur system have a squirt bottle of water and soap to spray any spots that you can't pin point where the leak is at, it'll bubble. It worked for me when I had a leak on mine, it turned out to be the injector seals (the ones between the injectors and the manifold). All of them.

Did you take any special precautions when pressure testing the whole system like that? I have been told its not that accurate with the cams installed due to pressure leaking out of exhaust? later today ill hook the tester back up and see what i can get through the whole system.

OKay Guys, How do You turn up the stock Wastegate? What are all the items and Mods that I have to purchase in order to push 10 PSI on my ct-26 overhauled turbo??? I Know I need Lexus AFM, 550 cc injectors, K&N, I have 3" downpipe and exhaust.

CAN I adjust the stock waste gate? Where is it located? Can I crank up the boost without a boost controller?

^ the most important thing you are missing with that is a tune...

The point of the lexus/550 upgrade is that you don't need a tune...

Even stock, a tune will make the car run better, but it's not required.

Hold on before you do anything....your boost only goes to 4psi???

Stock boost is 6.8 Something isnt right if you can only get it to 4psi.

The wastegate actuator will hold 4.8-6.0 on an automatic at sea level. The 5 speed 5.5-7.5 in a manual, at sea level. 4 is about normal in Denver, assuming he is on the front range.

edit: wait, this is from 2 years ago? The thread is full of misinformation.

That depends on your definition of need. On my car, even with the adjustment screw opened all the way and my fuel pressure turned down to the lowest safe setting (I forget what it is, so I don't want to post wrong info here), I'm still going rich enough to misfire on days wgen it is above about 60-70. It ran great the one time I took it out at night when it was cool though. I'm running a Walbro 255, Aeromotive AFPR, RC 550's, and Lexus AFM. I also have an AEM wideband. So while you don't need a tune, you can (every car is different) have drivability problems.

SO how can I tune the car myself?
With 550cc's , k$N air filter, Walbro Fuel pump, and LEXUS AirFlowMeter.

HOW CAN I turn up the boost? Do I need a boost controller? do I need electronics? Which ones should I buy. I have $2000 to spend so please hurry and tell me! Hahahaha sorry, it is just that I have been waiting for so long for my question to be answered and not one person has answered me.

I just want to know, How can I turn up my boost to 15 PSI safely, what ALL I need to do. What ALL Mods go together that wont cause me problems. TO reliably run 15 psi?? What do I do?

PS Thank you for the responses finally

Alright in order to pass fuel cut you must do the lex/550 mod which has been covered. After doing so you can get either a manual boost controller, or an electric one. Electrics are more expensive obviously (hks models run around 300 to 500) and require minimal wiring and set up, but boost is there with a push of a button. Manuals are very cheap but require you to go under the hood and adjust the boost accordingly to get your proper boost level. Now iirc the proficiency of a stock ct26 is right around 12psi, anything after that your just blowing hot air. Upgrade your turbo to a 57 trim and boost to 20 iirc, but please do yourself a favor and everyone on this forum a favor and get a wideband so you know what's going on. Also to help that turbo out get some 3 inch exhaust piping under the car and get rid of the stock system. My $.02

he did search, but found the WORST thread to revive, so full of fail. and no you dont NEED the AFM/550's. i had an intake, 3" elbow-back(stock elbow) exhaust, and an MBC. after messing with the MBC for a few minutes/test runs i was able to set it at 14psi. but seriously? search again. theres A TON of threads on "what mods/upgrades should i do". your not the first with these questions and you will not be the last.

edit: the first "mod" should be finding out if the HG has ever been replaced and if not, doing that first and foremost, the right way. otherwise, you will be ballin on higher psi right until you race that civic and you go BHG!!!!!!
