*sigh*

nitrous isn't dangerous if properly installed. Dry kits make you go boom, wet kits that are properly installed and have all the safety features (i.e. NOT CHEAP) are extremely effective and powerful.

Turbo's have lag, nitrous doesn't, so the hit when it comes on is much meaner than a turbo.

Nitrous on a turbo car makes you spool faster and usually gets a better return on the jetting as it supercools the intake charge. There was a guy with a stock 7M, upgraded CT, and supporting mods with nitrous...ran 11's (it's somewhere on SF if you look)

N/A? Well, make sure you rev it out as the 7M does flow pretty well up top, especially with the system they put on the N/A's that changes the intake manifold flow.

To get an N/A faster than a turbo is going to cost more than the turbo, not to mention that most of the mods are external mods that would benefit the turbo as well (lightweight flywheel, driveshaft, major diet of you and the car).

I am going to put my 2 cents in, If you really want to go "Faster" it will take time, $, and patience. Sit down, write down a plan on how FAST you want to go. EX: 14 seconds, 13 seconds, 12 seconds, in the 1/4 mile. Once you figure out the 1/4 mile times you would like to see your self in, then you should 1. Sit down write out a game plan on how you will attack this. Will you go 7MGE-T, 7MGTE, 1JZ-GTE, 2JZ-GTE, 1UZ. Once you choose your option, then i would start with the "SEARCH" button and start doing some home work on how you can approach your project. Also, DO NOT make your DD your project, makes it that much harder. Once you have figured out what route you want to take, what parts will get you there, then you start to price hunt on what you can find for a good or decent price. Once that happens, start purchasing and get ALL the parts you need before you start. Then park the car, tear it down to what RT you chose then start installing the goodies. Start her up, break her in, hit up the track, hit up the dyno, post up a build thread.

The Turbonator is much less expensive and more efficient than any turbocharger, supercharger, blower, or intercooler.

Hey man dont let the turbo guys get you down. Your NA is a fun car and actually has a couple areas it shines in. I preferred my NA when attacking a tight uphill course. Having to wait on power coming out of a corner just wasnt as good. Will it be faster than the turbo? Dollar for dollar the answer is definately NO, but there are things you can do to make it faster than it is at this moment. You wont see any big gains in performance unless you spend big $$$, but some mods are reasonable.

First off makes sure that the car is operating at full poential. Good plugs and wires, correct timing and a clean fuel system should be the first thing you do. Airflow is the critical factor in making more horsepower, so use a good air filter. Putting it behind a heat shield is a good idea as well. Put a header on it and a decent exhaust. Dont make the mistake of going too big as the NA likes backpressure. Reduce weight, anything you can do to make it lighter will make it faster, but be warned, you may not like the car after its been gutted.

The last thing you can do to make the car is to make yourself a better driver. Learn to use what you got. If you have a drag strip nearby, take your car to it when they have a test and tune day. Try to find ways to make you have a low reaction time, good clean launches and smooth gear changes (if you are 5spd). Try to beat your time every time you line up.

Last piece of advice is to take care of the car. Im guessing you are pretty young and most young people abuse their first car (maybe even a few more).
Supras dont like abuse or neglect. Watch your temperature and oil pressure. Check your oil EVERY time you fill up. I dont know how many times I've read about people "rod-knocking" thier motors simply because they didnt bother to check the oil level.

Anyway, enough of my preaching. Enjoy your car for what its capable of but dont expect miracles. Have some fun with it.

QFT.

Throw Some D's On that Bitch.

With a good clutch and some other parts and aggressive timing, you'll do fine.

Ask Dean Marcum, he posted 12's with a NA.
