what numbers do you have to change to be get the fuel ratio to change for low and mids i'm idling around 11-12 and when i'm just crusing i'm around 9/10.5 so i need to know what menu i need to go in to to lower the fuel mixuter
the car has 255 walbro, 550 injectors , and i'm using the lc-1
i don't need to know what numbers to put in or anything just what numbers to change and under what title they are here are the numbers i have now i would like to know what numbers to change manual on the maft pro i'm not asking you all to figure out what numbers i need to put in unless you have a system near what i have and you might have a idea of the numbers that would work i would just like to know what set of numbers on the this list change the low and mid fuel ratio
those that have any idea of what it should be the car has: 60-1 turbo, cooleze hard pipes, 3 inch turbo elbow and down pipe, .20 bore, 550cc injectors, sperco intercooler, 255 walbro

EDIT: i am an idiot.

you need to turn AFR tracking off- both WOT and part throttle.

to tune low and mid throttle, simply add corrections to the low and mid tables...monitoring Vf for changes.

what's your base fuel press?

using a walbro w/the stock fuel press regulator and stock fuel lines has been known to cause extremely high pressures (too much restriction in the stock system for the flow of the walbro). look into getting an AFPR w/gauge or renting a fuel press test kit....that may be your problem.

to start tuning, you'll want to turn off AFR tracking so you're not fighting it. change the following settings:

PT tracking-
idle TPS: 0
cruise TPS: 0

AFR tracking-
min TPS: 5

need? maybe. if $$ is a concern, simply hit up your local auto parts store and rent a fuel pressure test kit.

if not, you'll want to remove the stock FPR and return line and replace it. there isn't a direct fit option, though there are several kits out there. i recommend staying away from knock-off china crap....after all, this IS your fuel system. not the best place the skimp.

modifying a car isn't about just buying parts- it's about understanding what each part does and how they work together. if you don't have an understanding of something you have 2 options:

1. take the time to do the research/reading yourself to gain understanding

2. pay someone who has the understanding to do the work for you

what sort of AFR numbers are you seeing @ WOT? if it's real rich, i suggest pulling the J tube on the fuel return and drilling it out and seeing if that helps....

i recommend an aeromotive AFPR and then have someone make you up some real SS/lines and fittings. beware that most industrial SS line/fittings have rather small inner diameter....then again, it can't be any worse than what you have.

Aeromotive AFPR kit for 7M-GTE
Aeromotive AFPR kit for 7m-gte. Includes Aeromotive 13109, custom braided stainless feed and return lines, all the needed fittings and adaptors, 0-100 psi liquid filled gauge, and a bracket for the shock tower. Bypasses the j-pipe on the 7m block. The stock regulator just does not cut it when you have a bigger fuel pump and bigger injectors.

Two other things I noticed... your displacement is set to 2.9 litres, is this something you have calculated? Stock is 2.952 litres, I see you're 0.20 overbore (JE pistons?) so that changes things, but it's unlikely to lower your displacement. When running in speed density mode you want the displacement number to be pretty accurate.

Number 2, your AFR Tracking starting RPM is 2400. That's far below the ECU's open loop transition at 3500rpm, which means that it will be constantly fighting your target afr's (trying to bring it back to 14.7) unless you're not running the stock O2 sensor anymore. I suggest 3500rpm for this when you have it enabled.

Cheers,
Jim
