How much to reupholster your seats?

Here's the quote I got for reupholstering my front seats, just my fronts, please tell me if this sounds fair and if you've had it done how much did you pay?

"Uhhhhh, I'd hafta look that up, but, uhhh, yur lookin' at, I'd say, I dunno, about a thousand dollars for both seats..."

A thousand dollars for leather?

"Leather? You want leather?"

And is that for two tone?

"TWO TONE? I'm gunna hafta look into that one."

IIRC from what I've heard, it's $650 for the fronts only. Leather.
Two-tone is a bit more. Black leather with ostrich centers FTW!

You may still be able to jump in on the leatherseats.com group buy on supraforums. My set is still a few weeks away because over 20 did it.

ya I got a quote for $760 us for front and rear leather two tone seats with coloured double stitching... black leather with grey leather inserts and grey double stitching.. check out leatherseats.com... that's where i'm going to be getting my seats from.

lol... well, i'm sure you could whip up something with some leather, a sewing machine and some glue.... depends on if you want it to look factory or something out of silence of the lambs...

i went to a junkyard and found some fresh supra seats from an 86.5 (non-eletric), I took those bad boys home for 30 bucks! Keep your eyes open they're out there.

I reupholstered my seats...Took about 6 hours to do the two front seats and the bench in the back. I got seat skins from leatherseats.com!...The best 600 I ever spent. I called them made a deal...Got free shipping and free center console skin...They look brand new now. All I need is a paint job. I can show pics if any wants...

I paid 1250.00 for mine if I remember correctly. That was front seats, rear seats, door panels, e brake boot. Blue leather and white vinyl. Hope you find a good deal.................lol

I have real recaro srd's in my wrx, and the above recaro style seats are great. I've sat in them personally... I may get a set for the supra.

I paid $800 for the car with newly recovered fronts. Ya, it needed a motor, but good deal anyway. Body looked as-is in sig.

i just got all my seats done two tone for 650

I'm sure most of you guys have seen these pics.... but just in case... I paid $600 for two-tone perforated leather... including all labor (removal of seats, reupholstery, reinstallation, etc).

The pattern they used is factory original (much more complicated then the pattern leatherseats.com uses), however as you can see since it is done by hand so it's not super tight. I'm very satisified with it, especially for the price.
