just wondering how much hp i can make my 88turbo on 3''dp 3''testpie 3''exhaust,fipk intake vpc gcc evc, everything else is stock, what do you guys say, also a 32x12 fmic with 3'' pipes, thanks let me know what you think

tissimo;1398326 said:No it doesn't.

Personal experience seeing the VPC's KV frequency signal output never going above what would trigger FC, plus many years of 20-30psi pulls on several Supras.

It's likely the table in ROM doesn't have a value above FC.
tissimo;1398923 said:It depends on the setup. A stock injector rom and a upgraded turbo with upped boost will either hit fuel cut or go lean if the rom indeed doesn't have values above boost cut. It cant bypass the ECUs programming.
With a 550 rom with 550 injectors it changes everything, but I assume hes on a 440 chip since he made no mention of upgraded fuel.

bfr1992t;1398940 said:It will not trigger fuel cut because the VPC is configured to not output a KV signal high enough to. It may run lean if VE moves too far beyond the mess of a fuel map that results from the combination of the stock ECU and the VPC. That is why I stated it needed careful tuning. In most cases the stock fuel map is extremely rich. 440cc/min injectors can support quite a bit more than most think.
