The car was free, with a blown head gasket.

Hmm... I probably spent $350 replacing my head gasket (had to get a head, too!)
Another $75 flushing the tranny, and refilling with Toyota's Type T-IV fluid.
$200 in '89+ mouldings.
I ended up getting my 5 speed swap for free, and a new radiator for free.
$130 for new targa seals
$30 custom 4" intake for the AFM.
$30 for a new high pressure A/C line.
$20 for some cans of R134
$120 in 3 oil changes.
$20 new A/C belt.
$70 alignment yesterday.
$115 for a 3" elbow.


Still selling various spare parts to make up for spending around $1200 on my car this year. :)

bhg, random repairs, and a lot of booze to help cope with the fact that i can't drive it yet. $1500 is a lot for a full time student. but, i'm still going to be building a motor this winter.
