Ive spent around 2300 dollars... about 300 in the last week, 1000 in the last month, ugh... I just added up everything I need just to get the car to where I want it.....

I've spent a good amount of money between 2 BHG's,a brand new head, exhaust, 57 trim ct-26,tires, all maintence that needed to be done and soon to purchase a r154 and clutch. Then the winter will be more money spent on paint job and interior.

I have spent around 5k since may on parts (when I bought the car for another $3300).... bhg, valve shims, new brakes all around (new calipers and rotors in back)... various little mods... K&N intake with 95 civic hard pipe.. magnaflow exhaust.. grant steering wheel, trd horn button, trd shift knob, custom shift boot, centre console lid and ebrake boot, head unit, speakers, clutch master and slave cylinder, new headlights, 89+ seatbelt guides, cam gear cover....... plus lots more.... and more that aren't on the car yet... (panel behind passenger side door, front mudflap pieces, 89 tails, 3-piece spoiler, door handle, 88 turbo ecu etc..)

I stopped counting a few years ago too. It's not worth what you put into it unless you keep it and love it.

I think I'm in about $1500 since I bought the car in March. Can't wait to see the figure climb when she gets some paint this winter.
Between engine swaps, extras/goodies, stereo stuff... easily over $5K... But I did get to drive it for a few months this year!!!
Going to the shop today to hopefully finish up the swap... then we start spending/swapping a TT into the Fiance's MKIV... the fun never stops.

I spent 0, I think...but i'm N/A powahhh!(this year...) and next month I think there'll be general maintenance and muffler change and this year maybe some new leather in interior...

Fixed alot of the stuff the previous owner screwed up, getting it road worthy, insurance, gas, a motor rebuild and misc. parts!!! Its only August so there is still more time to spend more money!! At least $5-6k with purchase price of the car (maybe more) !!
allan you spent 20k this year? holy shit i thought i was bad! the total body restoration i want to get with rims and tires will easily cost another 7-8k, I just can't handle it no more LOL ... i'm gonna have to wait a while, at least till next year.
