I bet you guys that 'baby' your car let it idle for 5 minutes before you turn it off too, even though you weren't driving it that hard...
im with Joe, you're not supposed to let it warm up a lot; driving it under load is key here. I let my car idle about 10 secodns after notmal driving, after hard driving i let it sit for about a minute.OneJoeZee said:

this thread has been concluded. Put key in, find a song/cd/radio station, Look at he oil pressure guage, and go.
i let it warm up.... then i realise im late for work and skert out of there! but if i have no where to go, usually a few min but it depends on how cold it is outside-900rpm is ok for me. but i dont boost untill the temp starts tickin up
I usually give it about 30 seconds and then take it easy until the coolant is up to operating temp. Then is all about "sideways driving drift action"!
