I was looking through the unveiling pics of the new Panoz World Champ Car and this is one of the photos that was a show before the actual showing of the car...

now...this reminded me of every time i see this sort of back-breaking arobics...and i've been meaning to ask...how the HELL do they do it without snapping? i mean...my back would break before my head touched my butt bending over backwards!!

is this a male/female bone structure difference, body training, or possibly a genetics mutation that allows for that flexibility?

I've always wanted to date a contortionist...lol

I believe it's a body training type thing, just like working out, the more you work out, the bigger you get. The more you stretch, the more flexible you get.

i'm not sure that you can work out to get like that. maybe you can become a bit more flexible, but i'm willing to bet they were born like that.

when your born your muscles are very flexible, see the chinese acrobats and small kids doing cartwheels, somersaults etc, as you grow older you dont more around or use the full range of motion your muscles have and as a result you lose your flexibility. Before I started boxing and exercising I couldnt touch my toes with my legs straight, now I can touch my palms on the ground (took me 3yrs to get about 20cm's stretch in my legs)
