haha... drug dealers and soccer players. nice.

his books any good?

Not just any drug dealer can own a supra, it has it be a "drug dealer with a gold chain" :biglaugh:

The ones with collections of his old articles aren't too great, but the ones that he has actually written - "Motorworld" and "I know you're got soul" are bloody brilliant.

Well my dad has a metal tool that you just stick in between the drivers or passangers windowl, and you just pull and it will unlock the door, it took me about 10 min to find the hook the first time i tried it, but it did work. He bought it at Harbor Freight for less then 10 dlls.

Sorry about the messed up reply but i said i need one now because my door locks don't work - manually or power - from the inside and the key dosen't work! That ever happened to you?

Whoa! If your locks don't work from the inside then I would assume there is something disconnected from the linkages in the door. Why not open it up and check? Takes 5 minutes to get the door panel off tops and you will be able to see everything inside the door relatd to door locking.

I have the car in my parking spot as of tonight! So after $178.00 and 3 calls to CAA later, I have the car and I have a key for the doors and a key that works in the ignition! Turns out the previous owner must have changed the ignition cylinder because the key for the doors is waaay different, no wonder they didn't work! I have pics, but my digicam is acting weird so not tonight. I do have to say that I know for sure it needs a rad and an auto tranny. Those autos are easy to come by if I recall as I think everyone on this forum has one lying in their garage ahahaa. I'll update once I get the digicam working.

There's a white pre-89 turbo sitting down the street from where I work under a carport and blocked in by a 1st gen RX7. They both look like they have been there for years. I need to go by and see if the owner will let me take it off their hands. :)

WOAH what's up with the radiator? did it explode? it looks like a whole section of the top piece is torn off? or is that just me seeing things wrong.

looks great for under 200 bux man!! Defenitely needs attention to clean off rust on some little engine bits and the exterior but hey...still awesome.

how's the underbody?

I'd LOVE to find one similar to make into a racecar :p or to steal the gte out of :)

I can see your girl's yellow undies..:D

interior looks nice and clean, the engine bay seems to be missing quite a few items, but it should be fun bringing her back from the dead..

Yeah, a huge strip of plastic from the top rad tank is gone :icon_razz. A friend of the guy who did this to the car walked past lsat night as i prepped it for tow, and told us his friend, within 10 days, exploded the rad like you see, and exploded the tranny. To quote him " the transmission go boom" so yeah, although the engine runs, it has black oil and a blown up radiator, plus the transmission needs to be replaced.

Any local a340es and radiators please apply within:icon_bigg. Otherwise, the interior panels look very clean, and inside the door under the panel is like new. The car has only 139,xxxkm on it, I was wrong in my first guess of over 300,xxxkm as I could not read the speedo right from outside the car. I have the rad pretty much ready for removal already; ned to drain it still and find a cheap replacement...

The tranny will be bigger though. I need to find one, then try to replace, and I was hoping it could be done with the engine stil in the car, as I have to crane or cash to redo the engine as of yet. BHG? Not sure yet, as the oil didn't look too bad, just really black hahaa. I am excited again though. It's been almost 2 years since I had a supra, and this is my 3rd one! :icon_wink

I wil post questions as they arise, and trust me they will as the electrical system is very questionable. Thanks for all of the interest guys. I never though this would go 10 pages whoa!

Hahaa, you wish Ian. She was helping me by cleaning up the dash and door panels and glass. She said she just had to clean it, so I felt obliged to let her :icon_bigg The more I can do to get her liking the car, the more time I can spend with it!:biglaugh:. She says she really likes it though, and can't wait until it's fixed.
