yes but the only way to get that compromise is with a clutch style lsd, i dont think that torsen lsd's work very well for drifting. however they dont wear out but the way the gears mesh it is not as effective as the clutch style. drift king Keiichi Tsuchya says that to be effective you should rebuild your lsd once a month if your drift alot.
A Locker while horrible technology would probably do the trick, haven't head of one for a G Series though.
(I ran an IRS 9" in my Mk3 so lots of choices available I went TrueTrac, not quite as nice as a Torsen but functional/consistant)
