Val- i might take you up on that offer. I need a trans QUICK! I don't wanna use my r-154 if i dont have to. If i can find another one around somewhere, i will, but if i can get a w58 full swap i'll go for that.

Matt-You got 2 Auto trans sittin around don't you ? No 5-spds

Help a brother out !

maybe i am missing something...tell us again why you don't want to use your r-154???

FYI... I sold my block to Jeff in Gainesville!

yeah matt, i told jeff that you had the block anyways. I already got this other block bored, decked and machined. Got my .20 over pistons and waiting on my crank.

I am giving up on automatics. They just dont last for me.

you might as well give up on the Supra then...how many Headgaskets have you blown on your NA? :biglaugh:
(you left yourself open for that one)

On another note...my drain plug gasket is not the problem ....I am pretty sure either the threads on the pan are stripped or the threads on the damn bolt because i didn't even have to put oil back in it to see that it was dripping again. So there it stands on jackstands again..... Also my damn oil cooler line from the pan is leaking, i think that gasket has seen its better days as well......So yeah anyone know the thread pattern on the damn drain plug? Because I have a feeling that I will need to retap it. It seems as though my AFR probelm is fixed....I had a huge vacuum leak on the PVC nipple of the throttle body, so i t'd it off and the gauge is now reading 15.9 to 16.3 at idle.....

Just cause ive blown two on the na you automatically think i'll blow one on my turbo with a MHG in it? If i blow it then jeff and the guys at tachyon will be paying for it. They are doing all the maching for me.

Crazier things have happened.....I mean who knew Matt's freeze plug would fall off?? Or that I will never see those 30 bucks that I let Brad "borrow".......just to name a few. Oh and BTW are you putting the head on it, or are you letting Tachyon take care of it?

man..sorry i haven't been keeping up with things. Does anyone know about our AC system...im not getting power to my compressor. i've put direct power to it to charge it and pluged it back up and still nothing. i've even changed the controls to the 89+. checked both relays near the battery. and the fuse on the pass kick panel.

Where could my problem be? maybe the relay box behind the control panel in the dash? how do i go about checking everything?! its freaking hot out side!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey man, is your ac system charged? have you checked your pressures? if the pressures are un-even /unbalanced /too high /too low in your ac system, then it will tell the computer not to turn it on. You need to get some ac gauges and hook up to it and see what it reads. If you need to then you can swing my shop and have the guys check it out. $20 to check your system. LMK
