Took some pictures of the new block tonight. Got a good deal from the junkyard. $100 for the block, head and misc. stuff. Score for me. JDM engine im assuming with the block off plates. Clean inside, had BHG -go figure- NO scoring what-so-ever on the crank. You can see it was taken care of. IF anybody is off tomorrow feel free to stop by my aunt's house....were doing some yard work but i'll be playing with the turbo some too. Call me up 859-9127 if you wanna stop by.

New block, crank and front timing plate is at the Tachyon. Jeff didn't call me today so thats good news right off the bat, haha.

Val, what you gonna do with your turbo engine when you swap in the built one? I wanna swap my n/a sometime soon. Keep it stock and use if for my DD.

Well when swap the motors out.....Matts brother Johnny wanted the motor currently on my car so he has dibs, but if he decides to go a different route i will let you know. I will certainly have no use for it.
Has anybody talked to jaymar ? I tried calling him and left 2 messages about the engine he has/had. If anybody talks to him let him know im still interested.

hey guys! i drove the car to Orlando on sunday and it drove great!! first long drive and no problems. but it was way to quiet, so hopefully i can get the exhaust done at ian's shop on monday.
still have that oil leak i can't seem to locate, but im gonna check to see if its the cps.

Update on engine build. Crank has to be re-ground and i'll have to go the oversized piston route. Brian said the deck was in good shape to lapp it. Waitin on some more cash to finish the internals, then its on to puttin it together.
