Did you get that turbo in Matt? How is it running?

Yep, Turbo, new Oil Lines and Downpipe are in!! :icon_bigg

I had a very weird vibration and sound after the install. I drove my bro home Sat night and this noise was freaking me out.. So yesterday I got under the car and long story short, I found the Downpipe was pressed right against the transmission crossmember..

So I pulled it out and started chopping. Now it is fixed.. I am a little skeered to boost it though.. I would like to make it to Tampa!!! It would suck to boost it a get a BHG!!!

its demanding that u take it over 4k rpms lol j/p Well give me a call tomarrow and ill stop by and we'll search over all the coolant lines and see if we cant find the prob. But i bet oscar rigged it up when he was helping u so he can beat u while your car has probs he tried doing that to me by not tightening my front wheel lugs :D solution oscar= evil asian hit man lol just kiddin oscar i just had to mess with u since u wanted to stay at home and play with your "wood" instead of helping val get the black "spec V" runnin :D

Matt. Hows the tires on your parts car? i blew one of mine on the way home tonight and the other one isnt looking to good so if u wouldnt mind lending them to me that would be great, unless val gets his other 2 back from donnie

Brad, Not sure If I would trust those old tires.. I was just going to do Burnouts with them.. However.. That Turbo at the Junkyard on Mainstreet had great tires on it.. It was Sawblades..

As far as the Drag car.. Hell I would gladly get that 87 N/A chassis out of the garage.. Lets put in a small block 350 tub it out and snatch the rust of that thing.. That would be fun..

starter is quite easy it becomes a little easyer if you drop the back of the tranny some but it has to be done from the bottom.

you will need a short 14mm wrench, a long extension with a impact swivel
14mm and a impact wrench. 12mm for the starter wire

I attempted to do it today.....yeah I didnt have THAT long of an extension, plus I couldnt get the socket to fit all the way on the stud head for the top bolt. I'll try again tomorrow afternoon.

Matt, i found a w-58 with all the stuff for a swap for $600 Shipped.........Good deal?

Not a bad price... If that is shipped!! Like I said you will probably want to buy new master\slave and maybe lines..

I would have to kind of lean towards what Brad said... Why would you not want to use the R154?
I know you mentioned you wouldn't need it because of horsepower reasons... But a resale on the R154 would be greater or at least a little more wanted..

Either way you will love the difference in the car..

Honestly, I couldn't afford buying a R-154 w/all the goodies in good shape for under $1,000. I'm streching it spending $600 for everything with the W-58. It's my daily, Plus i'll spend more money on my build car then this one. Damn AUTOS !
