I might see a mk3 maybe once every 3>4 months but I see Silvias almost daily here so they must have been really cheap to import or something.

Haha, there are definately more RHD Silvias in my area than MKIII's.. which is rediculous. At least I have the only S13. I really like it, it doesn't have the stance, and luxury on the highway..it just feels cheap LOL. Whipping it around as my daily is great tho, I can and will drive this everyday.

I forgot to update. I picked up some Ksport coilovers for $200. I was going to hold out for some Stance GR+ Pro's, but I decided that the Ksport's were too good of a deal to pass up on.

I've been really busy tuning cars for the upcoming race season, buying a house and work. I finally got a chance for an update.

This was actually a lot of work. Cutting the bumper for decent fitment took hours.
This is an ebay kit from CXracing; I would have built my own kit, but this kit was cheaper than I could build one myself... the good news is fitment is FLAWLESS. I am VERY impressed.

I'll post some more updates later. There isn't much left to go on this car. Pretty soon this will be a "built" thread.

I understand why. My eventual goal was to have a built 2JZGE-T with over 1000whp in an S13.. but not this one! Now I'm leaning towards 1UZ/1FZ. Judging by my experience of the 2JZGE on the stock block, I feel like 1Kwhp shouldn't be hard to hit with the right mods and some tuning, so I'd like to challenge myself with a different platform.

definitely... i just think all that mid-range power of the 7m would be absolutely mind boggling in a 2400 lb car... even more so for a v8 O_O I don't think you'd need or even be able to use more than 6-700whp

I'd keep the SR in it and just find a cheapo 240sx to stick a 2j in. An unmolested RHD would probably have more appeal if you decide to sell it.

Oh yea..How hard was it to learn to shift with your left hand? Been pulled over in it yet?

Took me all of a day, putting around town to get completely used to RHD. I daily drive it now. I've yet to be pulled over in it.

The bigger IC actually made it a lil slower... reason being..

If you ask most 240 kids what the stock boost of an SR20DET is, they'll say 7 psi. Yes. The stock WG has a 7 psi spring in it. What most of them don't know, is that there is a factory boost controller, which raises the boost to 11 psi.

Since there is no map sensor on the S13 to control the boost controller, the boost controller relies on the MAF for the airflow data. When you add a larger intercooler, it completely throws off this boost controller. Took me a couple weeks to figure out why my car was freaking out when the WG opened. I disabled the OE boost contoller and all was well.

yea, they're really small, and I'd assume they heatsoak very easily.
