I've been totally unable to find a manual anywhere for this thing (HKS EAC-T), if someone can point me to it that would be wunnerful:

I have a '90; it's kinda obvious that one of the plugs on the harness replaces a plug on the car and then that removed plug will in turn go back into the harness - but where? Neither of the ECU's by the glovebox have a similar connector.

One of the plugs on the harness is labeled "TC 0589".

Secondly there is what appears to be a ground wire coming off of the controller end - is there a particular spot this is supposed to go? (i.e., is it really just another ground?)

Thanks

it plugs in to the Pass foot well the plug is behind and to one side of the Auto box ecu (if yours is a Auto)

Thats a power supply not a earth. not sure if lumination or a ign source. from memory!

Right on! The harness did plug into the passenger footwell and the loose wire at the controller end was needing 12v to power the thing up.

Thanks so much for pointing me to the footwell, I never would have found it.

I do have one more question:
I haven't driven the car because I have it all torn apart and was feeding it 12v with an external power supply; with the car idling, when I put the controller in Hard all three TEMS LEDs light up, but when I put it in Normal or Sport only one LED lights up - does this sound normal or should I have one, two, and three lights depending on the switch setting?

Sounds normal, from the one I have been driving, it has auto and manual setting for Sport etc.

Was the harness that the EAC-T plugged into just dangling under the dash or did you unplug something?

I have a manual. Not sure if that affects anything, seeing as it was mentioned above that the plug was near the Auto box.

The plug is a 2 piece. You plug in part of it and then plug the other part of the controller in to where the plug was. It's the only big white plug in the passenger kick panel. You cant miss it.
