My car is hitting fuel cut in 3rd, 4th and 5th. I have 3"DP, air/water intercooler, no 3000 pipe, je pistons around 9:1 compression. everything else is stock. I have my boost controler at 10psi. however boost creeps up to 11 and i hit fuel cut. Im curious as of why boost is creeping up on me. I am going to put a wideband on it this weekend and adjust the screw on the bottom of the mass airflow sensor to try to get around fuel cut. anyone have similar problems? Im sure im missing something here.

What kind of boost controller?

High gears raise the load on the engine causing more boost. Need to know ALL your mods to figure this out...

the air to water is a cheap xs power unit from ebay. the engine is in a mustang. It has stock ct26. and 3.73 in rear end. boost controler is a Blitz SBC-ID.

that is the intercooler...

fuel cut is dependant on numerous things. One happens to be the AFM frequency but the HAC's output also will vary the FC.

Now with that said. It is more than likely a Boost controller issue as I never had creep with an HKS EVC IV.

The Blitz SBC-ID. What is your gain setting at?

Have fuel cut at 11 PSI is normal.

That is where I hit FC as well with basically the same things you have.

I don't see anything wrong here.

Your fuel cut issues may be able to be solved by lowering your setting of course, but a Lexus AFM may work well for you, and is known to be very effective, saw one on Ebay today 75.00

HAC = High altitude compensation sensor. On 87-88 is located right underneath the glove box. On the 89-92 it is internal to ECU.

...Did you see the picture his 7M is in a Mustang I doubt that if it was a pre 89 then anything would be in it's stock mkIII position....
