Thanks guys. Not sure if those will be enough or if I will have to go with an external oil pump. The engine revs around 9500rpm and has over 820hp to the wheels and I´m having problems with oil volume. I´ve seen most of the high hp, hi-reving engines with external pumps. Any advice will be helpful. Thanks again

Either one of those pumps should give you enough oil for 10,000 rpms. The 2JZ guys are using them with great success on 1Krwhp builds.

I knew of Maeso back in the day, do you know him?

I think I can try one of those. The stock just won´t do and going to an external it´s quite costly, specially when I have two cars that need them. I guess I will try it in one of them and then decide. Hope I don´t mess the rod bearings and crankshaft again. Can you name any car that has one?

It´s been a while since the last time I saw Maeso, why?

Run a SP oil pump, THey have made over 1500hp motor on this oil pump & the seal mod is very helpful.... YEs they rev there motors to 10k & no oil pressure issues..

Really? I don't wanna insult no ones intelligence here, but SP builds bad ass supras... there pump has been on multiple 1500hp cars... plus there modified to keep the front seal in place cause when you start running real boost they love blowing the front seal....

Well, they modify the pump to relieve pressure in the higher RPM to reduce the risk of blowing out seals. That is done by porting the pump. The stock pump has been pushed to 10,000RPM and over 1000RWHP when it is modified to lower the pressure to avoid blowing out the seals.

If you just had it modified to just have the seal screwed in without any porting on the pump, it would flow high pressure numbers well past 10,000RPM since it is doing 10,000RPM when modified at a lower pressure.

what about the bostlogic modified oil pump, i gues it the same like phr modified, am thinking sp got the most work put into, caz they modified it and put 3 screws to hold in the seals
