Well in my toyota pickup I run them on the upper fender well sides where it seams to be dry but I've never had them on a supra. I've never owned a supra so I'm not to sure of it's weaknesses in those areas.

I presume mine are sealed well but what's a good option for water proofing?

I'm running "ebay" projectors on mine they worl pretty well for being cheap lol

Not yet, but I'm not absolutely happy with the setup I'm running now, so projectors will be going in this year.

What IS your setup?
E-codes?
I'd like to fit my e-codes with HIDs one day, even if the cut off isn't perfect.

At the moment I'm running Asian HID's in Hella E-Code housings. If I were going to do it all again, I'd go straight for Nissan projectors and mount them inside a modified set of cheapo diamond cut lenses from Ebay.

I made a set of lexus projector into ebay housing. Only problem being is that the projector is a bit too long, that is with using the proper and OEM hid and balast from lexus. How long..or short are the nissan projectors? I can get pictures if anyone is really interested. I only have made the prototype so they're still ugly. Having say that, im running e-codes and h4 hid and they're good, not as bad as hid and ebay housing. I also have a set of custom retrofit from someone i know that are really nice but uses h7 bulbs. I can also get pictures some other time too. They're going in my car when im close to finished.

Don't bother. Do an Infinity FX35 bixenon retrofit. I've been with the e-codes and a PnP HID kit. They're terrible. My e-codes with good halogen bulbs and a headlight rewire put out more usable light.

FX35 bixenon FTW!

Anyone try TSX projectors? I heard they're pretty slim.
With TSX you only get single xenon, which is low beam only. ;)

I mounted them on the inner fender walls between the battery on one side and next to the ic pipe on the other. Looks like shit so im going to make a bracket to mount them on. They are in dimond cut housings and light up my backyard good, but the foglights look brighter.

:( Thankfully, you live nowhere near me. If you insist on putting HID's in halogen housing, at LEAST use E-codes. :nono:

All you're doing is blinding people. The halogen housing spreads the light all over the damn place, and not very much where you need it. (on the road) I'm willing to bet you have next to no cutoff as well. Ugh.

I dont know what you are talking about. I have those cheap ass ebay lights and I have a sharp line about 3 feet off the ground on my garage 30 feet away. If anything my foglights (that have almost the same glass as e-codes) throw light in all directions. I have the 55watt Bi bulbs and the high beam still has a line about 4 1/2 to 5 feet off the ground. I never seen HIDs in e-code in person im just saying what I have and the results I got. Maybe the ones you seen just wern't adjusted right.

i'm in the process of retrofitting a set of stripped down BMW 540 Elipsoids into a Custom Housing. As of now, they'll be Low Beam only, but I'm working on an actuator that will lift the housing a small amount when i flip the high beam switch. Probably won't be done for a month or two, as its just a little side project. but i'll be sure to post up the results when i'm done.

Those germans just impress me at every turn though. they actually have a small vacuum hose and (what i believe to be) some kind of absorbent balls, inside the headlights to keep moisture out....they really do think of everything

Does it look like this?

Nobody is really concerned with the HIGH beams... you shouldn't have those on with anyone in front of you anyway. We're worried about the LOW beams.
