Has anyone used a HUD in an MKIII?

I've been looking at some of these HUD's (Heads Up Display) recently and was going to gather some input from fellow owners. My friend was telling me about these and I couldn't believe that there so inexpensive. Has anyone used one of these in an MKIII? Is it difficult to install? Thanks...

yea dude me too sorta.... to my understanding it's just something that you put up on your dash and it translucently displays your speed and rpms digitally up on your windshield right in front of your face...

Yea it projects a reflection onto your windshield from the dash, GM has been doing it for awhile with Grand prix's, Bonneville's, Vette's, etc.

the whole point of them is so you don't have to look down so far to see your speed and revs, it's supposed to be a lot safer when you're driving hard
