yeah like the title says very slow build thread, whenever the car actually gets here i can make a lot more progress, but as I sit now, I'm just ordering misc parts and looking at my pile o parts grow. next on the list is;

cams
valve covers gaskets
2 whalbros
injectors
oil cooler

and we'll go from there

hey suprahero, common man these parts are high dollar, I actually have two supras a 91 and a 89 both of which aren't getting my 2j due to different things on them I don't wish to deal with. but I have a couple candidates i will be sorting through shortly. I had to save up for my damn turbos. 2100 dollars is a big chunk of change to throw down at once. Like the title says this is a SLOW build. but I should have some pretty cool stuff coming soon.

only updates I got are. still getting together my fuel system. got a -10 aeromotive FPR, two whalbros, trying to get some Jun cams imported, along with some other JDM goodies, Also trying to source out a decent 6spd, if I can't find one I'll be ordering either a Exedy twin plate or OS Gilken shortly.
I should have some pics of my manifolds, both intake and exhaust at the point they are at now tomarrow.

I didn't know you had to run two fuel pumps for the twin turbo. Is that a preference or is that the norm. I guess I know even less about twin turbos as I do about single turbo'd MKIII's.......................:crazy1:

no you don't have too, I'd just rather spend 200 on two whalbros then 400 on a aeromotive pump. Yeah the turbos should be here in the next week hopefully. then its fab time, the shop that is doin all my work will have the car for a while (once I figure out which one I'm goin to use) so they can fab up the cage, FFIM, IC and piping, DP, Ypipe, exhaust, etc. along with pulling my rear subframe and sandblasting, rewelding, powdercaoting and reinstalling. then I'll pull everything back out and its time for body work. I hate not having the damn car I'm goin to use but, I got to get rid of the other two before I get another.

is 935 going to get you the exedy twin plate,if you go with the r154?i want to get one for my 1j car and was wondering about availability.
your build on the other hand is sweet.it might be slow like you say,but that might help you from overlooking important detail.
