most autozone's or advanced auto's can have gaskets like that next day if you order them (some might take more time)

On the other question:
I don't know how much you should take apart. I would advise spending more time trying to find the leak. If there's that much fuel you should be able to find it

thats the problem. there is so much fuel i can tell what area it is comign from but not exactly what. if i can get my throttle body off, i think i will be able to get a better look.

alright so i finally got time to get into this....

i pulled the throttle body and the 3000 pipe off. it looks like the 3rd injector from the front is leaking badly around where it enters the motor. so im guessing its just a bad o-ring. i have some extra injectors laying around, could i put one of those in, or should i buy new o-rings or what?

also, and more importantly, to get this injector out, what do i have to take off the motor? do i have to take the intake manifold off? cause that looks like it is gonna be a pain in the butt.

thanks

You should be able to remove the fuel rail with the upper intake manifold attached:
http://www.cygnusx1.net/supra/Library/TSRM/MK3/manual.aspx?S=FI&P=84

I would get a full set of O-rings for the rail and grommets for the head. It would also be a good time to clean the ISCV and inspect/replace the check valve under it. You will also need new TB & ISCV gaskets, and crush washers for the fuel line attachments to the rail.

you can i just did it two days ago. i recomed you change all of them the ones in the head, the ones on the top and the ones in the middle. at napa you can get a injector kit for about two bucks each and it includes all three rings.

i tried to use an old one and it busted on me and i had to go back in so i just did all of them the second time now its good.

ps.. when you install them get some grease and put just a tad around the top of them before you install them into the fuel rail. onse thats done you should be good...

oh noes, vaseline is kinda rough there!

jk, but on subject like the other guys were saying its not that hard just gotta remove some crap to get to it. when I did mine it was when I was building my motor so it was easy for me. but still the same for you just in the car. this way you can look for other stuff wrong while your in there.

best of luck with it, remember to take pics.

im marking everything with painters tape:biglaugh: and numbers so i remember where it all hooks up.

its going pretty good, but im stuck. i cant seem to get the bolt that connects the cold start injector tube to the fuel rail loose. it is super tight.

also, how do i clean the iscv?

To clean the ISCV you have to take it apart. Three screws hold it to the base, remove them and the motor will come off. Be careful there's a thin hard rubber gasket under the motor...save this. Clean the aluminum housing with brake cleaner and a brush...same for the plunger on the motor. Then just reassemble...it will only go together one way. Make sure the check valve under it is facing the correct direction and use a new gasket when you bolt it back on the manifold.

Use a piece of stiff wire with a small 90 deg bend on the end. Hook the grommet and it should come out. Check all the holes in the head for rubber pieces...sounds like yours were pretty hard.

ok i am going to order parts but i dont want to forget anything. i need:

injector o-rings and gaskets (6)

TB gasket
iscv gasket

and where are these copper crush washers you guys are talking about? i found three copper washers on top of the fuel rail but they look solid, not like crush washers. and are they vehicle specific or jsut generic washers?

anything else?

Easy there, before I start thinking you're related to SpaceGhost. The parts you mentioned should be all you need. Get the crush washers at the dealer and don't be surprised if they turn out to be aluminum. Truth is the copper ones can be reused if annealed but that's advanced stuff and I wouldn't want to hear you set yourself or the car afire. Might also be a good time to change the small hoses on the TB and ISCV if they're old and you still have them.

Might be for the ISCV...between the motor and the housing.

Post a pic.
