this is what the rouge kit looks like.

After your last sanding and cleaning use the red bar in the kit. Go over your work slowly, DONT BAKE THE ROUGE! Too much pressure. you'll want to use an electric drill for this kit.

Clean it over agian with soap and water. Time to use the white bar with a different buffing wheel. Agian go over it slowly and smoothly.
Once finished use a fine mist of water to wipe it down.

After all is done apply wax to keep it from oxidizing and gathering waterspots. It'll come out great!

yeah the rouge justin is talking about works real well. i prefer that to standard polish.

so this is on your car? no offense, but you need to go easy on the rtv (or whoever did that). it isnt nec most of the time, and if you do use it a very thin layer of the black will work just fine.

keep it up!

Hey that looks awesome, great job.

Here's another project for you. Go buy a can of laquer thinner (cheap enough) and use it to scrub all of the rubber in your engine bay. It will make it all look like new rubber parts, plus it will make them soft again. Use solvent gloves though, because the thinner will suck all of the oil out of your fingers and make them crack. Keep us posted on your progress.

Yeah, well at least I worked for the cars I wrench on. Guys at my school get mommy and daddy's BMW.

Oh and BTW, this kid crashed his moms Porsche. Was trying to act like a badass and happened to understeer in the parking lot slamming into a teachers jeep.

He wasn't too happy =]

I hate when kids use their parent's money.

I'm glad your parents make you work for your ride. I know i had to, and i really think it makes you appreciate everything you have. :)

Of course if given a Porsche or something, I'd gladly have taken it, but I do firmly believe kids who grow up with things handed to them lack a sense of what money and goods really are.

:bigthumb: here at virginia tech i see way too much of that: "oh good for you graduating, here's a wrx. and then we'll pay your tuition too. and here, throw in a benz for good measure."
