just got back from truck scale ... mine weighted in at 3280.. the only thing weight reduction i have done is a 25lb 1 piece drive shaft, the older owner striped the hood down to nothing, I also have set of 17" konigs Next's "light weight" i guess thats it... i am still very surprised i was expecting 3600+

yea sorry went for a drive....Its an 86.5 n/A hardtop 5 spd ...i was out of the car and it had a half tank or gas...

i was just told that they where the lightest ever produced (Aside from narrow-body 1G's). IIRC a stock 86.5 hardtop 5spd weighs 3470 lbs.

About right. Mine weighs 3400 with 3/8 tank of gas, according to the CAT scales at a local truck stop.

I wouldn't be surprised if a scrap yard scale is a little light...
