Guys That repainted thier car: Window molding suggestions. replace, repaint?

Thats only the front window. Still need the rest.

If someone made some in cf id prolly buy them. There such a pain im so lazy where id prolly rather just spend 800 on new ones than deal with stripping and painting or powder coating.

I'm painting my car this weekend and I will do something with the trim. probably going to try to paint it. I'll post the results.

Im going to just buy new ones in a few months but for now since they are peeling so bad im going to use trim brite blackout tape. Seen it on a subaru forum, seems to work for them but as far as longevity that is yet to be dicovered.

I used a razor to remove all of the coating then scuffed the surface with wet/dry paper and painted them with Rustoleum semi gloss black using those cheap foam brushes. That was 3 years ago and they still look new.

I did notice one small problem from the newer style trim-
When you spray the windshield with washer fluid and your windows are open, it's coming inside.
The oem style's raised edge prevented this from happening to some extent. Not that this is a huge problem, of course.
