Untrue Shaun, the turbo ones aren't that fast, to do "10's" you'd have to have a built motor and a custom turbo kit, which would cost you about the same as it would to get the supra to do 10's. I don't need a really fast car, I have the supra for that, I'm looking for something reliable that I can autox and still have fun.

I said turboed well, meaning properly building it for turbo power...

the market is huge to do just that, and you don't have to put as much money into them to make them 10 seond cars as they weigh next to nothing and actually get traction...

Think of a miata as a RWD honda, as they both rock on a track and can be made fast because they weigh so little, but they both have a stigma to them...

? They don't get any better traction than we do, probably worse as they will go crazy with 300hp. If you go crazy with 300hp in a mk3 then you are just a bad driver. Plenty of people on the miata forums don't recommend a turbo car for track use as you cant give it gas in the corner because its either no power, or spooling and too much power. Another reason they have v8 swaps :).

If anyone finds a good black M edition with the tan leather interior in your area (Anywhere in the USA) And I buy it, I'll give you a finders fee. 5 speed of course.

gotta find the article I had, but building a 10 second miata, means it's not gonna be a roadcourse car sadly...

The issue with the turbo setup is it thros the awesome balance of the car off. If I owned one, I'd go with ITB's and other N/A upgrades..

My buddy bought an "M version with a wine sorta color. It is a' 95 and has tan interior/tan top cool OEM wheels (aluminum)... He bought new tan top, lowered it,bought new carpet and now putting new custom tan leathers in. He is going to do some more suspension but he wants people to think it is a DD sorta car and it does look like it. It will just will handle awesome :) He is going to put it back to new condition as the previous owner didn't take care of it as they should have. I generally don't like these cars, but his is a cool version. Fully loaded too :)

If I fit, I would consider it.

Are you taller than 6'4?

My buddy is 6.4 He drives it now and still fits fine but....The seats are going to be modified when he gets the leathers in by dropping the cushioning and the seat as well. He also took out the visor/'s

Yup, M editions are the best of the best (except for the limited ones where only a few were made), I went yesterday to look at a 95 black on tan M edition, I showed up and the guy said it sold earlier that day. I was pissed, the car was MINT!

And I extend my "find me a miata and if I buy it I'll give you a finders fee" to any dark colored 94-97 with tan interior.

depends on what the guy looks like, how driving it, but just the car by itself, pretty homo

Any miata / rsx / 200+ celica / rx8 / new eclipse / s2k / ANYTHING WITH A SOFT TOP looks like a chick car.

I'm 6'8" and the non movable steering wheel is the only thing that doesn't let me in a first gen miata.

Where's the option for EXTREMELY GAY ??

Who cares if it can shoot like a rocket down the track and into your ass. It doesn't make it less gay.
