I think it should be double whatever the particular gte engine made stock.....

That would be 460 for a 7m, 600 for a 2jz, 400ish for a 3s.... and so on.

So we agree then:

230hp x2 = 460hp (crank)
460hp - 15% (drivetrain loss) = 391 wheel hp.

Rounded up makes 400 whp :biglaugh:

lol one of the reasons we did 400 rather than 500 was because 400 is 58% improvement over stock for the 7M. yes the 2j comes stock higher but this is how we balance it out. plus i dont care about some guy who did 500 one time on a dyno on race gas but putts around daily on low boost at 350. we may change things up later on for 500rwhp or make it a sub section but currently its 400rwhp.

530 rwhp was easy to me - first try on the dyno.

Yes, I "putt around on low boost" over...400 rwhp. Lower if I'm tired or in traffic, etc because I simply don't need/can't use all of that power on the street anyways. Funny the above comments coming from an n/a owner? Have you driven a 500rwhp car? Not knocking you but it's not always easy to control. :)

if it's 400hp, it should DEFINATELY be RWHP. hell, i'm at 340hp on the stock turbo and it's got chipped impeller blades and shaft play! (289rwhp/295ft lb tq)

it HAS to be rwhp. i think 475rwhp is a good goal. :)

edit: wow, i must have been drunk writing that^ heh, i'm definately not at 400+ on the stock turbo. shaeff+ tired = shaeff FTL.

I think 450 is a good number. requires a little work and wouldnt be so easy for the average bpu MKIV and upgraded ct26 MKIII. I think there is a lot less cars with 450 than with 400rwhp. Impressive power but not to dam hard to get, 450 is good starting point for the site.
