With the GT series there's LOT of mix and matching of parts ie: this cold side with that hot side and the 4067 is one of the better 7M suited ones!

Hybrids are "a composite of mixed origin"

what kind of spool would u expect to see on a 4067? based on a built engine with supporting mods and port/polished head, tubular manifold...

well on that thread hes getting positive boost at 2000 rpm and full boost at 3200 rpm or something.. id be fine with that kind of lag. i just dont want a boost doesnt kick in till 3500 and hits full boost 1000 rpm before redline deal

Ahh.. The GT35R. :)

Built by Garrett, a Dual Ball bearing Turbo unit.
.70 Compressor & 1.06 Exhaust side.
T04S 82mm Compressor Wheel, 0.70AR T04S Compressor housing.
Flow rate is 65lbs/min.
The Turbine: 84 Trim, 68mm.
0.63, 0.82 or 1.06 A/R. Turbine Housing's available
Horsepower, I believe will realistically hold around 600rwhp+.

Some misinformation here. The GT series turbos are not built with T series turbines and impellers. The housings are similar, but the internals are different. GT series turbos have a completely different set of impellers.

A lot of people fail to realize that all of the "PT" and "SP" turbos etc are just garrett internals mated into specificially selected housings. These companies do not design and/or manufacture their own impellers and turbines. So there is some confusion when people compare a 61mm GT series turbo with, for example, an SP61 which has a T-series impeller. The GT series impellers are more efficient, so you can do a better job with a similarly sized turbo.

Some of the newer turbos from PT, SP etc do include the newer Garrett internals. You just have to keep an eye out for which one youre purchasing.

Keep a close eye on ebay too. Some vendors advertise their turbos as GT35 or "comprable to a GT35" but they actually have TO4 compressor wheels in them. Dont be a sucker.

so if someone were to want 500+whp on pump gas (91), and upwards of 600 on C16, the GT4067R would be the best bet in terms of lag time in comparison to power goals, or am I still slightly unedjumacated?

Wingy: The limiting factor becomes the Octane you want to run.

So yes the 4067 will make the 500 at a lower boost pressure than the 3540 and while you may just make it on the 3540 personally I think it would be way to close to detonating.
