I'm pretty set on getting the Garrett GT3076R, however I was wondering what A/R you guys are running on Turbine side.

Basically the GT3037r, HKS3037s, and T3 are in the same group. So if you have one of these setups on your 1JZ lets hear what specs you're running. Hopefully this will help those in the future looking for a responsive setup.

Both Garrett and HKS make a 0.8x and a 1.0x exhaust A/R. I'm thinking that the 1.0x would be a good compromise with having the efficient compressor side, dual BB, and still not choke the exhaust side under high rpm. What do you think?

Also how much boost are you using to get your HP. I am looking to run between 15-19psi.

I have the gt35 with an .82 housing and I love mine, but as for your setup, I can't answer because I don't have that turbo. Good luck.

I talked to Jose about the very same set up you are running. I am thinking about it for mine when the twins eventually go out. You are using the drewgo manifold right? You may need to check that spelling!!! Can you shoot me some pics? Would like to see the overall fitment if possible. Jose told me it is a sick turbo with some pretty quick spool on a 1j.

Thanks

Wayne

HKS GT30/37 or HKS GT30/40.. best response turbos ever made for our motors.

both will flow 490ps according to HKS.

the HKS 3037s is equivalent to the GT3076r, same in all spec except the A/R trims. which turbine A/R would you reccomend for our motors? 0.8x or 1.0x

GT makes a GT3582r 0.63 AR which according to the website is designed for lower displacement motors that need a lot of flow. I just haven't found anyone running this particular turbo to get feeback on response. A lot of feedback on the GT30 says its awesome on response but will run out of air around the 450rwhp mark. If anyone knows someone runing the GT35 with a 0.63AR let us know how it is!
