PART1

marked up locations for my straps for the intercooler pipes and then preceded down to my friends fabrication workshop for a spot of welding which turned out to be two hours worth of messing about on the lathe as well as welding

have just finished outside in the dark as it is 10 pm here and only 2c out there now they arnt perfect but i will finish neatening them up when i take the engine out but they do work pic as follows

10 hours to do this today :3d_frown:

Ouch! My eyes hurt from too much fuzzy bling!
Steve, I'd recommend using thicker Oring for the HK$ BOV flange, We pressure tested ours, and it's leaking with the HK$ ring.
Looking fantastic! How much boost are you planing on running? Since it's a GT42R, are you boing to run 42 psi? ;) 4.2 Bar? Do tell!
On a side note, I had a bit of an accident with the blue car...

thanks for advice on the ring i'll look into it might just weld it on ;)
boost wise was going for 30-35 psi when done but few bits go to change for that
the one i am really looking forward to doing is the cooling system as there wont be another like it and it should be so efficient in regards to maintaing a constant temp with no peaks that i hope it will alleviate the bhg problems
in fact it should have better cooling properties than my intercooler :biglaugh:
