clean is one thing, but that. holy crap, it is totally spotless i dont think i could find a single droplet of oil on it.

just dont knock a quart of oil over with your elbow when you go to fill it up

never have i seen a block and oil pan that didnt have oil, thats just weird.

No chance of that, I already filled it with oil, and not only was I careful, I also used a funnel for the first time in over 10 years. :D

The engine is very clean, however, you can still find grime under the hood ... I think the pictures make it look better than it really is. Then again, maybe I'm just picky because I'm the one that put it together!

Oh geez. I just realized I never replied to the PM you sent me... I even typed out a bunch of information!

Sorry Dave. Looks like you got it taken care of anyway :)

WOW.......Clean is an understatement. Its just like new. You do any 1JZ swaps GRIM?? I know that if my garage looked like that i would be sleeping in it. My supra already monoplizes half of the garage.

Thanks guys!

spipedong, no worries, I got the info from Adjuster, and we now have a very nice thread about it in the FAQ. You could likely post your text in the same thread!

turbo4toy, no 1JZ swaps for me - you're right, if my garage looked like this for more than 3 months out of the year, it would be my bedroom as well. The little lady gets growly when I decide to take the car apart.

Ok, finally took some pics of the finished product. It's been running now for almost three weeks, and I've finally got everything cleaned up - all the extra wires back into wiring loom, built a mounting bracket for the MAFT, and put in my new windshield washer nozzle to replace the one I snapped taking the engine out.

Anyhow, without any further mucking about, here's the pics!

And the car as it looks now:

The front of the car does look high - or at least the fender gap looks bigger. Combination of my ST springs and the fact that my tires are smaller in the front. :D

The only lightweight component I have in there is the flywheel, and it's pretty much in the center of the car.

Next time I take photos I'll do so on an empty tank of gas! ;)

I am back at this thread once again to use these pictures as a reference.

Grim, that is a hell of a job you did. I would not have imagined a new engine to be that...new looking.
As I already told you in AIM, those pics are quite helpful!
I once even used an attachment to verify with a buyer that we were talking about the same part. Well he complimented me, and of course I told him that it wasn't mine, but yours. heheh

With all those pics--and one can never have enough as a reference while building--this thread should be either in or somehow linked in the MK3 Supra Information/Reference section.

Well for my future searches, I will create a word that will bring me back here quick:
