Ok, so I know I've been quiet for a long time. Well, I figure it's about time to post some shiny pictures of what's coming. :)

Some details:
- JE Pistons, 20 over
- RC 550cc injectors
- Wally fuel pump
- Aeromotive AFPR
- Stainless fuel lines
- Cometic head gasket
- Feramic full face clutch disc
- MAFT pro with wideband, MAP sensor, and Electronic Boost control

I'm sure there's more, but at the moment nothing else comes to mind. :D

looks like you have some good stuf in the works. so what are the details on that beast? aftermarket pistons right? what kind? what kind of clutch is that?

:) I'll post some specs in the first post.

I'm usually pretty inactive over the summers - I'd rather be out mountain biking, or driving, or... something. As ol' man winter settles in, I'll be online more - well, after I get this engine assembled and installed, anyhow.

Looks awesome! Nice to see a nicely laid out and organized parts table...I hate when I can't find tools...dammit where'd my 14mm go? ;)

The sun went down twice before all 6 pistons and the front timing cover were installed :momaru:
Dude, you have no idea. :D It was over 2 months before those were installed.

I should mention that there wasn't any rush, as I didn't get all the parts shipped to me until just recently, and then I was injured for two weeks (ripped hamstring during a mountain bike crash)... etc, etc.

Looking great man!!! is it true that it is better to store a crank stanking up rather than laying down?? i noticed you had it like that and have been told it is better to stand it up by a freind of mine.

Im guessing your a mechanic?
Only for Supras. I'm actually a manager for the Quality Assurance department in a software firm, my experience wrenching is rather limited by comparison to an actual mechanic.

This is what I have heard as well, and all the machinists I have visited store them that way as well. I've heard that they can warp if you lay them flat, although how much truth there is to this is beyond my ken. :)
