I have been in communication with energy suspension about making bushings for our car at a resonable price and heres some good news. he also mentioned to me on the phone that the vehicle will eventually be listed on there vehicles needed for testing page on their website. we need to be sure once the car gets listed to get test vehicles in so the product can be developed faster

This vehicle is the next import car on the "vehicles needed for r&d
list"....stay tuned.

I didn't know about your thread either, CK, but i'm glad o hear about it.
Energy suspension has very good prices for their kits, like $30 for a set of lower A-arm bushings, vs. $120 for some manufacturers.

Yeah...Energy Suspension were supposed to do a kit years back..Some supra owner was to drive there and give them his car but he wrecked his supra.
I think I heard it from Dean Marcum.

This never happened and thats why RonnieK decided to tackle the bushing project.

Cheers,
Roy

YESSSSSSS I started my Email campaign with them almost 6 years ago. I've been bugging them regularly ever since. This is great news. I've even but emailing Summit to ask them to do it, also that summit sales reps come into our forums and see just how large the supra community really is.

hey Chris, do they still need a tester car? :icon_bigg

EDIT: BorHor, if they get done in time by Thanksgiving, I'll be up there in Vallejo. I can probably bring them to you since San Jose is on the way.

When will this be happening? I'm in the perfect position to install bushings, very soon! An affordable kit would be awesome!

We already have a boatload of aftermarket poly bushings available...
The entire kit for the whole car IIRC (unless something has changed) is over 700 dollars.....

I could almost buy a coil over setup or big brake kit for that......

for the 240's there ~250 for the whole car.

but it's ONE GUY doing them, so it's understandable...

I want a complete set, including subframe bushings... but there is another company that makes poly bushings, but they're impregnated with graphite so they don't squeek (which I'd love)

sorry ck i didnt see your thread

as far as a time frame i dont imagine it will be to soon i mean they still have to make molds test fit and everything im sure thats not a swift process. i was just posting this to get the news out and maybe to get some more people to email them to really drive the point home that we want some bushings
