I've the SARD K26 kit.

Most HP recorded stateside is 590RWHP on a 1.5JZ with the Blitz K26 kit (manifolds are different), and I believe that was OrinB. Someone who knows correct me if I'm wrong.

I would say 600RWHP max. Maeso's video of a stock 1jz with the K26 kit run a 9.X quartermile popping a wheelie on a K26 kit two stepping sold me.

For a 2JZ though, I think SF would be your best bet SOM.

The top 1.5JZ state side power is like 800rwhp+. I'm pretty sure Orin hit something like that... and Maseo's friends car put out 800rwhp too according to them

Where can I find out more info on the K26 kits.. or prices..?

800RWHP seems high though. Just from what I read on what Orin put down with the Blitz on a 1.5J, and ZaZZn's experiences on a 1J. I would think closer to 35PSI is where you'd get 800 to the wheels, but I don't think it was on a Blitz kit. I looked, and found little.

Supra of Doom wants to be untouchable with JDM tyteness.

Going single is too easy.

damn right

I know i have done all this work to get and install this engine. I am not going to cop out after by installing a single if i can go twin.

Just to make it legit. you just need to bring around a Japanese engineer with you and sick him on who ever says you should have went single........LOL (make sure he only can speak japanese too)

I'm running 12b's w/ upgraded compressor wheels. I'm not sure on the exact specs. but I believe they are 60 trim T3 wheels, have printed 537 rwhp on Stu Hagen's car, and looks stock. LMK, if you want some more info I can get you in contact with the guy that does the upgrade.

Why would I spent thoasands among thoasands of dollars, and years of my time doing everything I want just to go single, not what I want?

Because it will make the same amount of power if not more, probably be lighter, wont require custom manifolds, 2 charge pipes, 2 sets of oil lines, 2 downpipes, and wont really provide any additional benefit beyond aesthetics.

It's more difficult. Takes more skill. More rare (aftermarket!).

You know, most of the people who are so hard pressed to go single simply do not appreciate that it does take more work, effort, and cash for twin kits. It's all the same in the end? Not for some, because a lot more attention goes into twin kits, and that's the satisfaction some people get out of it.

Leave it, this thread is not about which one is better twins or single, there are a lot of those threads already. It is about finding a good set of aftermarket twins. If anyone else wants to argue with Supra of Doom for what he's doing, take it to PM's or start another thread.
