Theresa was just coming home from picking up a few things from the grocery store, and this dumbass in an SUV pulled out without looking, tagged her in the right rear quarter panel and spun her completely around. :(

She loves this car more than some people love their spouses... Damien did a good job of protecting her. Not a scratch on her, although she's a little sore.

Fortunately I was working from home today, and the accident happened about a mile from the house.

I'm not sure he'll survive.

The carnage:

It's a little hard to see in the pics, but that right rear tire has some serious negative camber and it's toed in a little too. :(

I really hate these SUV & minivan driving assholes.... :bigun2:

Ohhhh noesss!!!!! That's awful, I am so sorry Mike and Theresa... people suck. Glad she's ok though, probably just sore from being tense about it. Toyotas are the best to get into an accident with.

Lots of people having accidents lately, someone on the AZsupra forum's sc300 was ass raped by some bimbo.

I guess I should be glad I can't drive my car, I am deathly afraid of some idiot hitting me.

That sucks man, but from the pics, it looks like both the door and trunk alignments are still perfect. Hope it's something that can be repaired.

Yea, I let her drive the MKIII home and I drove Damien.

He drives pretty normal all things considered.

His alignment is definitely off. I'm not sure what's causing the camber/toe in. Suspension arms all look straight - frame might be tweaked.

Not sure what's bent up yet.

I fucking hate people like that...They were probably talking on their cellphone about useless shit

He was very apologetic, admitted fault at the scene to the cop (dumb move on his part, good for us) and was ticketed for failure to yield.

He was looking the other way, trying to beat a dump truck.

Theresa spun a full 450 degrees and wound up pointing a the right hand curb...

The cop gave him a ration of shit, stuff along the lines of "wow, you must have really been gassing on it to hit her that hard", etc...

Glad she's okay!! How about her neck? Lots of friend with problems from accidents.

What sucks is they almost never can get the car back 100%.:3d_frown:
My G35 had suspension damage bill was 7800 and they neglegted to notice the sunroof had a crease in it. car had a nice clunk on bumps...not for long though.

WOW, I feel her pain. I've been hit 2 times in the supra. Once in a parking lot and never got a single note, they just fuckin left. And in the ass, which totaled a jetta, and put a 6 inch scar across the supras ass.

I FEEL YOUR PAIN DT! I can't stand people who drive offensively AND dont pay attention.

The only up side is that I think the ZZW30 is probably pretty collision repair friendly, what with the bolted-on panels, etc.

Good luck with the repairs, hopefully whoever does them does a good job. :)

I'm so sorry, Theresa. I can't imagine how I'd feel if someone hit my baby - all I can say is that I'd be posting about it from jail. I'm glad to hear you're okay, at least. Here's hoping Damien's back on the road soon!

:( That sucks! I'm happy to hear you're alright, and that he was dumb enough to admit fault at the scene. Make sure to feel out any injuries that might have happened. Move yourself all around just to make sure you have as full of movement as you ever did.

I'm sore. I'm mostly alright.

I'll be getting my ass to my chiropractor tomorrow (which.... sucks. I was just there yesterday).

Been eating advil like it's going out of style as preventative maintenance.

....Enterprise gave me a goddamn Ford Focus...
