Getting a new suspension need suggestions

I could be wrong but doesn't haveing a fixed spring rate make them linear and on tanabes website there listed as 7.9kg/mm and 3.7 kg/mm and there listed on 935motors sports website as linear https://935motorsports.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=79_14_34_36&products_id=962
I was just assuming that the closely wound part of the spring where nothing more then dead coils to increase the ride height and maintain suspension travel but like i said i could be wrong

7.9 and 3.7 arent very stiff at all either. Of course stiffer than stock, but look at what you're comparing it against. Compare it to a Megan coilovers 18kg/mm and 14kg/mm. You will feel the body roll in your upcoming autoX.
But you guys are lookin for DD, so it'd be great for you

Have you ever used Tanabe Ma70 springs?

My personal favorite for DD is bilsteins + stock springs, with slight lowering for free. It gives you the "twin turbo R" type of ride. Nice and tight, but still daily drivable. It is hard to beat for ~$400. My 2nd favorite is Tokico HP + Eibach, but it costs a little bit more.

Nope, but I assumed that they weren't linear due to the way the spring looks. If it's linear, then that's cool.

What the hell do you know? Try searching for something before you open your mouth and educate yourself before you just spouting what you heard from your buddies. I'm surprised to see all the Tokico recommendations because I thought we had sorted out now that Tokicos are crap. I know I havent come across a set of Tokicos that last more than a couple months to 2 years. All the premature blowing out. Maybe thats why they have lifetime warranties, lol
I'm running Megan coilovers and so are many other people all with RAVE reviews. Agreed I wouldnt use many of Megan's other products but their coilovers are tough and perform better than many other higher priced systems out there.
But of course as Wiisass likes to drag through the mud, any commercial off the shelf coilover system is pretty weak. Which I totally agree with since I was going to custom build my suspension from scratch too, but I was in a bind, absolutely needed something better than Bilsteins and TRD springs & the Megans were the right price, and so far have proved themselves with drifting and on track abuse

Im suprised no one else mentioned em, but I really liked my ST springs. I though they had the perfect amount of drop, a reasonable DD springrate and were cheap. Just another option.

if you want daily DONT get H&R's...
you feel everything. and they make the car pretty low. i have NO wheel gap in the front, and 1 finger in the rear.
and these are on hp blues.

i love the look though, and gettin sideways with stiff suspension is even better!

yea H&R is way too low, and I dont recomend them to anyone. Heck, I even warn people when they place an order of H&R springs from me...

woah woah. chill man. i wasn't attacking you. They didn't last long on my friends supra that could be due to Hawaii's roads. but I'm sure on the mainland they perform well.
