so that we can just head to the dealership and buy what we need

I don't think that TRD 3.22 diff is cheap or available, I know i try to buy one long time ago & the guy wanted $3200, It sold quick too for that much, I wish someone would replicate that ring & pinion, Now for the other rings & pinions yeah they should try & post part number.

You can go lower then 3.2

3.07 gears are in the 2wd 4 speed trucks from 84-90 or so

The gear code is G662 and they WILL work in the Supra housing

Non Supra gears that do fit the mk3 pumpkin:

3.071 = 43/14 = 4 runner
3.416 = 41/12 = 4 runner
3.583 = 43/12 = 4 runner
3.727 = 41/11 = 4 runner
3.900 = 39/10 = Hilux
4.100 = 41/10 = Hilux / 4 runner
4.300 = 43/10 = Hilux / 4 runner
4.556 = 41/09 = Hilux / 4runner
4.875 = 39/08 = Hilux

Hmm, I always thought they ran 7.5" gears in the trucks, not 8". Were these in the turbo trucks, or all trucks? That's really good information none the less. I think I may hit the junkyard and try to steal a rear-end

damn now my qestion is where in the heck am i going to find these over here in japan, damn.. i guess ill just have to wait till i get back state side.. damn but thanks for the rear end info, its going to make putting my 6spd in alot easyer knowing i got gears in the rear to fit it..

To be honest mate, you sound like a guy that only wants the Getrag because it has 6 gears - That's the WRONG reason to get one installed in your car.

The reason to go through all the time, hassle and expense related in sticking the Getrag in your car is if you're shooting for some BIG numbers and if you were, it's likely you wouldn't give a rats ass about not being able to use all 6 gears.

So should everyone check with you before doing any mod's to make sure we're doing it for the "right reasons"?
