Whats with the th400 talk it's shit, why not just upgrade your a340E?

Guys have pushing 9's in mk4's so far with the BL bulit stockers.

I don't have an a340e to begin with, let alone the harness and ECUs to suit them. I wouldn't really mind having my top speed restricted to a max of 140 because I don't ever plan on going past 140. Its cheaper to swap my r154 transmission to a TH350/TH400 and get my car into the 10s than it is to get enough horsepower to get into the 10s while keeping the r154. Cheap, Reliable AND Fast, Ill have all 3.

just get a ring/pinion combo from ALMOST ANY 8" toyota. i've put the mkii supra diff in my pickup...i've put a mkiii diff in my pickup with an 8" axle...and i've switched ring and pinion from supras to the pickup with no problems. the only mods i had to do was shave like 1/4 of an inch..if that from the rear axles and also rub down the pinion sleeve a little. otherwise it took no longer then an hour to do all that if you have the right equipment.

there are MANY aftermarket support for the toyota 8" diff. i'm sure there are quite of few places to custom make you one also.

Thats correct

Butt its difficult to find an combo in 8 inch lower then 3.73

Most of the 8 inch toyota make are higer then 3.73 and iff you are running the 6 speed you must go as low as posiible

i'm almost certain theres a 3.5X something that the 4 runner uses. i might be mistaken for the front axle 7.5" though. i'll check on that.
