I understand that everyone wants the preliminary information to include pricing but I want to get a more accurate price before I pull the trigger and scare people away. I assure that this is not dead and I am trying everything I can do to make this happen so I will keep you up to date.

One thing to take into consideration for the wilder cams is that Toyota has shimless buckets for the 1SZ-FE engine, so you guys wouldn't have to worry about "providing" something for them to work, they're already available!
Keep us posted.
Regrinds are nice and all, but 240 with 7.8mm lift is nothing like a good 264/272 combo pushing 9.5 lift or so...

Yep, I stand corrected, 2ZZ is hydro.
Not sure where I got off thinking it was that....
The 1ZZ-Fe is probably where I got off thinking ZZ instead of sz, and then...
I dunno, I'll fix it. ;) done.

If there is enough intrest, (need at least 15 orders prepaied) I can get 7m cams. Brand new from blank cores...

It would probably cost 475$+shipping.

It would also take aprox 3-4 months.....

BTW DR J i don't know why you say 9MM will spit out shims... Have you experianced that or is that just hear say?

I've been running .364 lift 9.2 on my 1jz which is a similar design to the 7m with out any problems and I will be running .406 shortly.

10 MM is about the max you want on a 1jz or you'll have to massage the head...

yes the buckets are larger, but I don't see how that will affect it.

From everything i understand about cams so far it's the how steep of a ramp up you have that causes buckets to shoot out.

I come from a land down under
Bigger diameter gives a more stable contact patch for the cam so it doesn't tilt the Shim and spit it out as it wipes across it.
(otherwise Toyota would have stuck with 28mm buckets also changes the ramp rate)
