ok so im doing a poll on my new gas door, was talking to adam aka honestabe and he says ricer, then commented on painting it the same color as the car. im not really here to answer why i have another door, just to keep it short my old one is all jacked up not replacing with original no more. so here is how its going to work. just type out the number thing it should be and add a reason why if you want. and no its not chrome its just clean aluminum, if curious what it is its a moroso fuel/access door from summit racing

1. ricer replace with somthing elese
2. leave it how it is
3. paint just the frame and leave bolts black
4. paint whole thing to match car paint including bolts
5. paint it some weird ass crazy color (include color)
6. give me the bullet to my gun so i can just finish my life now

pictures of it

Yeah it's pretty gay!

Sorry bro....fail indeed:-(

stickers on your rear hatch windows need to go too...as well as the aem sticker on the trim....why advertise companies when they aren't giving you parts?

idk.. depends on what you want for a final car. Fussy? its a do-over... Not fussy? then number 4 and live with it. Bottom line is.. you dont see that portion of the car much, its a "slight" distraction... thats all. Hell.. all the eye candy is nice for pictures and our egos.. but in reality.. we get to see the steering wheel more than that quarter panel. The only thing that truly bugs me is flaws on the driver side.. because that's the side I SEE!! :D

I would change. Look back at how the stock one looks. This one doesn't work well.

MAY look better matched, but I don't like it and don't think it belongs.

well i told honestabe that maybe a fender flare and wide rear and side would be nice with that and matched. its just that my original door wouldnt open. those holes are real lol, so if i want to go back its a full bondo and repaint

I.M.O. If that's the only place on the car that doesn't have that "Nascar" look then, Id change it. If you have that "Nascar" look some where else then it might look alright.
But, you do have a roll cage and racing stickers could be cool. My over all opinion,...."not feeling it"

Sorry, just my opinion.

I said leave it. It'd be worth not having to use a pry bar to open the fuel door at the gas station with everyone looking at you wondering why your car sucks so bad...

i dont like it :nono:. i think you need to replace it with a different one. looks ugly and weird. go with something that matches the car or even the carbon fiber look, would look better then that

Let me see if I get this straight... you're doing this because your fuel door won't open? That seems a lot like using a sledgehammer to clean up a spot of dirt on the window to me.

The beauty part of the Supra is the clean/smooth lines of the body.

If you were having a problem with the fuel door not opening there are MUCH easier, less expensive, and quicker ways to fix it than HACKING up the body to mount this new fuel door that looks like it belongs on a Mustang or a Camaro, or even a Yugo. Seriously? An exposed lock AND rivets?

Yes... I understand that the cable has either stretched or even broken (in rare cases) but a simple solenoid wired in place would have taken care of the problem and given you that cool pushbutton POWER!

And the CF one? At least it looks better than the one in the OP - still would stick with the factory, color-matched, door.

Why do I all of a sudden have the urge to yell out... "GET OFF MY LAWN YOU CRAZY KIDS!!!!"

wow didnt feel it was that bad, but i guess if its got to go, its going to go. so how you think i should go bout fixing the holes i just made ? i think there is just the top 4 and bottom 4 holes that were real. the other screws just sit nice and tight. maybe ill just use the door to install in the trunk to get to my return fuel line eaiser than pulling the whole tank. so are there any other types or replacements, or is a body filling and nice sanding and paint my only choice
