And whats the deal with your project now? If i had a single turbo 2j sitting underneath my hood thats all the motivation i need to give up food, sleep, school, etc just to give it all my time to get her running.

I quite simply am wiring retarded..and the harness I had made needs work. I dont know whats wrong with me really I just went and bought a new distraction last week lol. Ill get back on the wagon again and make a build thread as well soon.

Driving impressions with the diff, I definitely have alot more top end, 4th gear takes me past 115 now. and cruising 70mph on the highway is way lower rpm than with the 4.30's 60-1 will be swapped in tomorrow.

safc, now i can tune when i put in the lexus afm.

found a 89+ bumper locally, pass side is bent in but can be fixed, Lower grill is still in place.

this pic shows the damage but its nothing a body shop can bend back and fix.

I will sand it down, spray it black primer and throw it on the car just to test fit and see how it looks

got the afc and the wideband installed and running today. Semms pretty good, stock turbo 10lbs on full throttle its reading between 11.2-10.8. gets richer the higher the rpm. Next is to install one heat range colder ngk plugs and see what that does to my afr, how much will it richen it up, then install the lexus afm and 60-1 and began tuning. MY set of rotors and brake pads arrive tomorow. My intercooler hardpipes arrive next tuesday. Next on order when i get some money will be a walbro.

Rotors and pads came in today, Its nice to have brakes without any vibrations anymore, The old rotors were completely shot. The pads are some cheap pads that came with the rotors. Brake effort feels just like stock. Im rocking them now and next set well be some axis or ebc pads.

Intercooler piping is going on as we speak and honestly this kit is a pain in the ass to install. Very very tight clearances, dam near have to pull the bumper off to install.

ordered driftmotion ct26 softline kit so i can fit the 60-1 ran into issues with the oil lines being about an inch off the block wen installed. So the softline kit will fix that issue.

going to try and get an aeromotive fuel pressure regulator for x-mas lol and buy a set of used 550cc injectors from a friend and have it flow tested, Then the only thing holding me back will be the w58

installed the piping today, Aww man, this car is scary. Without touching anything on the boost controller, it went from 11lbs with the stock piping to 14 with the cx racing hardpipes. That means that the stock intercooler piping was robbing me 3lbs of boost. Also the car is very very more responsive and spools up even faster. I go now drive 30mph in 2nd gear and just step on it and the car goes sideways, freakin scary. I need to take the sawblades back off and throw my rims back on. Imma need the 275's i have on the rear to help with traction.

Car is running leaner tho.
before on wot pulls it would read 11.2 at around 4000 and gets richer the higher the rpm, around redline ending at 10.7-10.8

Now its leaner all ova, at idle, cruise, and wot.
At wot its begins at 11.7 and drops down to 11.2 at redline.

I kno 11.5 ish is what most tuner shoot for but im still on stock 7mgte pistons, stock hg, only arp studs and higher than stock gte compression since my head and block was both milled a good amount and im still on stock size hg. I think shooting for 11.0 would be a good safe tune for me. Gotta play with the safc some more and soon im throwing in the lexus afm so imma definitey have to richen it up som more. Time to go do some more research on a/f tuning.

fun didnt last too long, something in the clutch area went out. Loud knocking noise when the motor is running, When the clutch is depressed it goes away. Or it could be the tranny who knows, poor w58, Time for a r154 swap, Since the tranny is coming out, why not just put in the r154 now rite?

ok it was the w58 that went out. Clutch flywheel and pressureplate all where good, When you take the input sline shaft of the tranny and just rotate it clockwise and counter clock wise, u can hear the knock coming from inside the tranny, so maybe a tooth off a gear came off, etc, o well, the w58 parts i had in this build is now for sale.

List of parts to order,
Gte flywheel
gte 5spd driveshaft
gte pressure plates,
ARP flywheel bolts
And a nice Clutch Kit. May just have to do with a used aftermarket pressureplate and stock disk for rite now.

I just wasted a paycheck, ordered more than $500 in parts from driftmotion.

Arp flywheel bolts,
r154 pressure plate bolts,
r154 slave cylinder,
r154 clutch hose
action stage 3 pressure plate
marlin crawer shifter bushing,
marlin crawer shifter socket bushing
r154 bellhousing to tranny bolts, (my tranny doesnt have a bellhousing)
pilot bearing,
Clutch hub assembly.


Also orderd new dealership tailight gaskets from horsepowerfreaks.com, $45

Started doing some body work on her today as well, filled up the wholes where the 87 wing used to be and also shaved the whole for the antenna.

Selling the 60-1 and i purchased a 57trim ct26 for another steal of a price, dam near free for helping a friend out.

I still have the same power goals to run 11's but now i have the tranny to back it up as well as the clutch.
the 57 trim ct26 has been proven to run low 12's and make 400ish rwhp, so that with a lil 50-75shot i kno i can crack 11's and i will do it on this turbo and on this motor, stock hg, with arp bolts.

decided to pull the motor out to swap out the turbo and install the tranny, also clean it up a little bit and change some hoses.

Motor and tranny back in, just some basic stuff to finish up and some re-wiring and its back on the rd.
