enough boost to get me 400whp on 93 (less than 20psi is preferred) and the holset in question would be a hx35, hy35 or a he351 (approximately all the same size, 63mm inducer)

I'm guessing around 18psi

edit, I might also run a t61 or a t66 if i can find one cheap enough

I'm not stinky silly.

Wow, I'm loving the for sale sections here, so far i have found the manifold, wastegate (albeit knock off but was a kick ass price), DP and the IC, and I haven't broken the $500 mark yet.

Lucky me, I got a Holset HX35 today for cheap. Lucky is me.

On a bad note, the car had to get towed today because my car isnt starting. I dont have a CEL any more, meaning either the wiring is bad or the ECU. Seing how I'm using the stock toyota wiring, my guess is that it is the ECU.

Unfortunately, I just broke the $500 mark with the turbo and the walbro, (555 spent so far). Looks like I'll be keeping it under 1k for sure however.

$1K is still a pretty decent goal though, and (hopefully!) easily obtainable :)

Sorry to hear she's not running though, that makes me sad :(

Let me know if you want to buy Sam's Garage Saurus ecu ;)

If its PnP with a jza70 harness, LMK. Im going to have Jonoturbo put in all new caps and possibly all new resistors, it fixed his ECU up.

1k will be easilly attainable for just a clutch and oil lines, each should run about 150 (just using a 6-puck with the stock PP). The IC piping will break the 1k goal though.

I need to get the wastegate door welded shut, along with a v-band put on the rear.

Can you get any of the needed parts as Christmas presents to help you not spend over $1K????
Lol, I appreciate the offer, but I think I might be able to just trade a few things for some others.

Updating this, after quite a while. I have my AFC and 440s, still need to put them in. Car will be going under the knife soon (whats with me and late summer installs), and a buddy just told me about one of his friends with a good condition 2jz-ge for sale. I found a new internal wastegate actuator made by ATP Turbo (designed for a gt35) that will hopefully work on my hx35 and no creap like a mofo. The goal is to keep the stock intercooler, run off of wastegate(12psi) tune for the 440s and hope my clutch holds up :). Just need to get some more shit out of my garage and the car goes in, then comes the painfull process of twins removal. Don't worry Bryan, I am not cutting you out of the equation. I will still need a 90* welded to my turbo and a couple of other things.

Sorry it took so long to update this.

The twin pulling will start......tonight. Hopefully I will not have to break out the sawzall to do this. I will post pics and document what not to do when pulling the stock twins, as this will be my first time.

Update, again. Got my electrical drain thing figured out (fucking HKS TT-0). And found out something upsetting. JZA70 ecu #2 is now down for the count. Luckey for me, I found an AMAZING price on an aristo ecu, and Dr Tweak is making me a (almost) PnP adapter harness. The guy I am getting the ecu from also happens to have a set of CT20s from his aristo motor that he is tossing into the deal. Yay for me.

ugh, these fuckers do NOT want to come off. Hopefully soon, they will be off, so I can get to work on the bigger twins.
