black with a semi-gloss clearcoat for protection. makes it flat looking without getting rubbed off.
also if you've used armour-all before, you'll need to clean, clean, and then clean again before painting. that stuff is not good for paint and bodyshops hate it!!

amour-all has alcohol in it so it dries out the vinyl and is the number one reason for cracked interiors (unless your car has 200k on it), it sucks turtle wax makes a interior cleaner and it is what all the body shops i have talked to recomend.
ah theres my problem with it right there then, is that i use armorall all the time. Fuck them im never using them again, i guess i will repaint it again then lol.

I wouldn't recommend spray painting carpet...I think it looks shitty and it feels really funny too. Dye it if you're going to do anything. Now, on that note, if anyone knows of a good dye to use, I'm all ears!
Is there a way to paint a velours interiour black, without gettin' in the car with a white t-shirt and gettin' out the car with a black t-shirt?
I know there's a fabric-paint, but that's some kind of powder.
Throw a white T-shirt and some of the 'powder-paint' in the washing machine and you'll get a black T-shirt.
Since my velours interiour and carpet doesn't fit in the washing machine, it's not a option... or is it?

I dyed my carpet. It was a long time ago though, don't remember what brand. I finally got a nice deep black after applying it about a billion times.

It wasn't a paint. It was a dye. Really watery, in fact you could dilute it with water, it said to in the directions. But I figured where it was for the carpet I wanted it to be as strong/heavy as possible so I didn't dilute it.
