Finally! Where to source a vented gas cap!

ive ran without my CC for years now, dont cap the line, run a plastic hose to the original port on the fender to let it vent. if you cap the line, on hot days the fumes will pressurize to such a point that fuel will ooze from your gas cap. this is bad for your paint, lol.

this argument is retarded, tonnes of people remove there CC's with zero ill effects. i used it for target practice and put about 30 .22 shells through it. the charcoal stops bullets surprisingly well for about 10 shots. its like sand in the way its stops the kinetic energy of bullets, but i doubt it would have much effect on stopping a big bore round from a 30.06 or a .338 lapua.

The only thing that's retarded about the info in this thread is your post.

I could care less that you've done it and shot the crap out of the CC. You (like a lot of others) have no clue as to what the CC actually does.

77704-14240 is the part number for the Japan-spec charcoal canister.
